Great little hole-in-the-wall type place. It doesn't take many people to crowd it up, but the staff was really friendly and beer selection was great. They have a good spread across styles, which is nice to have in the current IPA-heavy climate.
First beer garden experience in TN and I loved it! They have a great menu that’s elevated from your usual bar menu. I recommend any of the charcuterie boards and DEFINITELY the pretzel with beer cheese! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about what’s on tap.
Great downtown Franklin addition focused on TN microbrews. Don't pass on the beer cheese and pretzels. Staff is the best !
Newest bar open in Franklin. Located at Five Points in downtown Franklin! Enjoyed talking with the owner and trying out a new brew for us! Gerst House Nitro named for the famous Gerst House German Restaurant in Nashville TN! We believe in supporting locally owned businesses and wish them the best of luck! We will be back often to try out their many selections of local and regional beers. They serve food here too and the menu looks awesome! Give them a try!
This intimate public house, with a warm comfortable decor is a great addition to the downtown Franklin retail district. The thirty primary taps are reserved for brews originating in Tennessee, with six more "guest" taps for those from beyond our state boundaries, also a significant selection of cans and bottles. A good blend of beer styles, currently leaning towards stouts and other dark beers (pretty reasonable given it's early February at the time of this writing), also a few sours and even a few ciders so our gluten free friends can feel welcome.
