Puckett’s Boat House

Nothing outstanding here as far as food. We both ordered the Rusty Bucket which includes oysters, shrimp, catfish, fries or onion rings and some hush puppies. The oysters were okay, supposed to be flown in fresh daily. I'm not sure about that claim. The shrimp were overcooked but not greasy. The catfish wasn't fresh, definitely frozen and not edible. I ordered onion rings which were quite large. Think I was served about 4 or 5. When I took the first bite I got a mouthful of grease and that was it for me. My companion didn't comment on the taste of the fries so I don't know about those. We both drank water. My friend ordered banana pudding to go. The bill with tip came to over $70 and I will never go back. Much better oyster and shrimp places in Nashville.

Its was really good. My whole family loves shrimp and fish. This is definitely the local place to go. I'm allergic to shellfish but still had plenty of good options. The only thing is if you have a toddler make sure to bring a small snack or distraction as it does take a while to get your food. Everything we ordered was great except the beer battered cod basket is more of a kids meal than adult. It had 3 small pieces of fried fish and a TON of fries.

Great food. Service was super fast. I would recommend the shrimp and grits and fried pickles. Will be recommending this place to anyone looking for a great bite to eat.

Pucket's younger sister.... located downtown, a little less busy than the main store but well worth the wait. The seafood is top notch and the portions give you the chance to have leftovers!!! Enjoy the music and the excellent customer service. I would recommend this restaurant any night of the week. Come here for the food, leave stuffed and loving the atmosphere.
