Puckett's Grocery & Restaurant - Downtown Franklin

Have eaten two days in a row at Puckett's. Love the choices. I had the most delicious meat loaf ever. Ground beef mixed with smoked brisket. They were able to accommodate my wife's food allergies. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

Great breakfast. Great service. Fast service. Temperature was a little cold inside. I'm from Michigan, so I can deal with 40° and no jacket... And the table configuration was not the best. I sat so close to another table I could hear them chewing and no one could get up without bumping in to someone else. But the food makes it worth it.

Great experience! First time here. We went with our server Andrew’s recommendations and ordered the meatloaf and chicken fried chicken. Both were very good. The chicken fried chicken little better. Live music was very good too.

I had the smoked meatloaf, served with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was very flavorful, a great comfort food meal. My wife had spicy grilled shrimp over grits with a Cajun sauce. If you like a little heat, this dish was excellent. The service was good, and the atmosphere down home. We were happy we made the 30 minute trip from Nashville.

First time to Franklin and our first restaurant we ate at. Great food and great atmosphere is what we found. My wife went for an all vegetable dish with green beans , mashed sweet potatoes , potatoes salad and baked beans. They were all really tasty. No way we could finish all that. Personally I chose the chicken fried chicken and loved the crispy batter and the juicy chicken inside. Lather that up with country gravy and it was a great meal. I cheated and was eating some of my wife's dishes but ate the macaroni and cheese to myself. Finishes off the meal with a couple of sweet margaritas on the rocks and enjoyed a great evening. Dont forget they had live music which tied the whole experience for the evening. What a wonderful place.
