“One problem from a local regular but the staff and food was great. I come in to town every couple weeks on business and one of their regulars sits at the bar. I had been suffering from bad allergies and was sniffing a bit. Just as he got up to leave he walked over 2 chairs and slapped me on the arm and said (in a not to friendly voice) "you what will take care of that?!!!!", I replied with what? and he said "Vicks!!!!" I am a friendly person so I thanked him much and he stood their staring down at me like he wanted to fight. I then went back to eating and he left. Now it is uncomfortable going in there when I am in town as he is in there around lunch and early afternoon when I have time to go in. All because I was a sniffing and he thinks he owns the place. I did not even realize, in the moment, his anger until I kept thinking about it. What will help him is a bible.”

“I usually do not write reviews, however, this Whataburger genuinely is unique in its pleasant staff. Ironically, since “pleasant” is in the name of the town, the management and staff at this location are kind, professional, and genuinely seem to enjoy their job and coworkers. Being a native Texan and having been to literally Whataburger hundreds of times at dozens of locations, this store stood out dramatically. I write this review in the hopes that whoever works here knows their hard work and kind nature do not go unnoticed by the customers, and that management should be proud of the morale and cohesiveness they’ve cultivated. “Lots of choices in wing flavor, but... the booth we were seated at clearly never had anyone clean it. French fries and crust. Yuk The women's bathroom toilet (one was out of order) was yellow due to a nasty ring that hadn't been cleaned. Also the soap was out of its dispenser. I had to figure out how to extract the soap to wash my hands. Idk if I'll be back. Lots of new faces, so hopefully that's an indication that things are looking up for this place. Our waitress was really nice and attentive (Hailey) We heard a thank you everytime someone left.”

“Haven't found a better salad in the area in the 10 years we've been here. Would prefer fountain sodas over canned, but I can understand cans are easier. Husband says burgers are good. LOVE all the history on the walls. Update: Upon reading the owner's response, I will be stopping by everytime we visit the park, have to register something @ the tax office, or any other something that calls us to Jourdanton, if only for a canned soda!”
