“Incredible food made in house and impeccable service to match. Burgers, chicken fried steak, chicken, sandwiches, salads, and a 19 oz grilled ribeye that melts in your mouth. Appetizers are delicious and desserts are also made in house and are excellent. Beer is very cold and wines by the glass and bottle also. The place is owned and operated by a small family and they greet everyone that comes in very warmly. They make you feel very at home and attend to every need you have. If you're not satisfied here you don't pay! Simple as that! That's just how great this place is! This is the place to go off the regular path and very much worth the drive. Try this place and you will be blown away how great it really is. I don't think it's possible to catch this place on a bad day. It's just that good here!”

“I just ate at The Leaky Bucket. I felt like I was in their home, in the best of ways. I loved their take on fried pickles (i don’t know how to spell what they are called). I ate the sweet and spicy pasta with seafood for an entree. I loved their shrimp in the pasta! And their lemon dessert was still warm from the oven. So smooth and delicious even after a big meal. The staff was so friendly. 4 people helped me, ask me how things were and got my opinion on the food.”

“A bar like this in a small town are obviously few and far between so you take what you can get. With that said, the service was good but the food was mediocre. The fried pickles were over seasoned, but good. The mozzarella sticks were (good) different, made with wanton rolls. The ribeye bites were cold and the chicken wings were undercooked. It’s a great spot for entertainment, drinks and bar food. It wasn’t too good for an entree appetite.”

“Very impressed with River Hills Steak and Seafood. Not only is the food a surprise for your taste buds, but you also get great service. Our waitress was pleasant and made sure we were happy with our food. We ordered burgers which were cooked just right and also juicy and flavorful. I’m not a fry person but their fry’s were quite yummy. The price of the food also was a Surprise. Very reasonable. Also has drive up. I recommend this new restaurant to everyone.”

One day I want to buy one of these swings that is built with all recycled material. I love this concept and everyone need to know that they offer these. “The cuisine is wonderfully prepared here. I had a delightful chicken avocado salad which I found to be a flavorful balance of fresh vegetables with well thought out seasoning revealing itself carefully within the chicken, all tied together nicely with bright occasions of avocado. Nothing would be better than to enjoy some of their sweet deserts with a little cup of espresso to compliment their modest, but sophisticated menu. I'll be looking for that espresso to be available on my next visit. The Architecture is a refreshing repose from the typical roadside vernacular. There is an open and cleanly designed modernity engaged with a hill country sense of presentation. They have a little covered outdoor space that has the potential to be something wonderful with a sense of it being a hidden gem if only a playful privacy screen were put up at the restroom entrances. Sacrificing a bit of space to do so would be a wise investment. Also, switching the hinges of the patio door to the other side would be nice so that I don't scrape my elbow on the wall the next time I visit. In all, I would gladly encourage you to stop by and enjoy the flavors that they offer and rest a bit in their thoughtful space.”
