We stopped in and spoke with the Grandson of the original owner from Houston. He is just as pleasant and welcoming. The shop is take-out only. But they do provide two cafe tables on the sidewalk. Where you get to enjoy the breeze and the occasional train. The menu here is almost the same. He was missing the oinker and the Evita. But he had a substitute for the oinker and made the Evita off the menu for us. Also probably home of the fanciest espresso machine in the area. Yes they have the chimichuri sauce! Will stop by every chance we get.”

“The owner, Joe was very nice and gave my daughter a free ice cream and juice for her 7th birthday just now. The homemade treats are delicious. HUGE cookies. They even have BAKLAVA made by his dad! They just started serving breakfast at 6am. They even have COFFEE!! Cutevlittle shop and the owner says he's always looking for new things to add to the menu. My kids said 10 out of 10!”

“We are camping at the state park and came in town to work for a bit. Luckily for us, we ended up here! We had the chili (lunch on Friday’s) and the pumpkin spice cake. All DELICIOUS! The staff was super friendly. Highly recommend and should be ever be back this way—we will be back for sure!”

“This was our first time trying the Cowboy Cafe and it was amazing!! We had a big table and the service was quick, attentive and polite! The food was amazing! “One of the best hamburgers you'll eat. Hand pressed, fresh buns, local butcher shop meat. It usually takes 20 to 25 minutes for the burger to be prepared, but well worth the wait. All of the Belleville locals know this is a wonderful hamburger spot hidden away at a gas station, convenience store. It is recommended that you call ahead for your Burgers to be ready to go for pickup. There are only four tables with 4 chairs at each table so dining in may not be an option during lunch peak hours.”
