Stopped by for breakfast last week and it was disappointing. Much different from the breakfast I had there a couple of months ago. Have had lunch there a couple of times and it was very good. The service staff is very good. Friendly and efficient.

Cute, relaxed atmosphere. Drinks served in large mason jars...sweet tea was perfect. Food selection is homemade kind of foods - chicken fried steak, pork chops, meatloaf, fried catfish all divine ! Loved the fried green tomatoes too. Service was great. They have whole pies that scream for a cup of coffee :-) I would go several times a week for a beer & an appetizer just for people watching.

This place is awesome. There was a bit of a wait(30 min at 10am on Sunday) but this is what you can expect when you get inside. Friendly homegrown staff, great food, healthy portions. Everything you order here comes in homemade sizes. The biscuits are the same that mamaw cooked. The pancakes are hang off the biggest plate you have seen. The chicken fried steak is the best I have ever had from a restaurant. The meat is tender, moist. Breading adequate and crunchy, golden brown. The gravy was good as well. My child got the children's hamburger which was two sliders and fries that looked so good it could easily be served as a bar snack. Lots of restaurants skip on the quality of the kids meals this was just as quality as the rest of their menu.
