ABSOLUTELY LOOOVE THIS PLACE!!😍 their food is so amazing- cooked and seasoned to perfection. The menu is fun, unique and thoughtful. The decor is cozy and inviting and all of the staff are absolutely wonderful! Best little spot in downtown Bastrop in my opinion, and you HAVE to try the pecan sticky buns…🤤

The biscuits and gravy are equisite and tasty. The bakery is in downtown Bastrop and has a cute back patio. The chicken fried bacon was a bit much for me but really good. This place definitely brings life to downtown Bastrop.

Oh man this place is amazing! Coming into the historic downtown Bastrop is always a treat! The Bearded baker was hard at work in the back and the exquisite tastes coming out was a testament to just how much love and care goes into the food. I tried them in Austin and I was kicking myself when I heard they moved. Imagine my surprise when I stumbled across them in their new, totally renovated downtown home! The atmosphere was great, but after I tasted the food it could have been a shack for all I cared!

One word DELICIOUS! It's awesome to watch a business grow and there's no doubt with food, salads, snacks, cookies, cakes, this good... this bearded bakery is going to grow far!

We walked in this place and was kind of thinking it was JUST a bakery... I was wrong it has amazing sandwiches, and more. Their pimento grilled cheese with bacon was outstanding! Chicken salad sandwich was to die for..... Iced coffee cookies everything here was on point super friendly staff, space is clean rustic, perfect for Texas... The best part is how incredibly friendly everybody is. I watched at least four couples and between 5 and 10 singles walk in and out and every single one left with a smile or laughing... Prices are amazing, The owners were amazing and checked in on us...if you can stop here, you should. The chicken biscuits are to die for!

Amazing food and amazing service. If you want real home cooked food, with a "southern comfort" flare, try The Bearded Baking Company, you won't be disappointed. The Dudley's "Poutine" is a fresh version of the traditional poutine, but is distinguished by the contrasting sweetness of the spicy ketchup with the tanginess of the sausage gravy. The Bubba's BLT has chicken fried bacon and is simple but delicious. The KC (Kelly Clarkson) Cowgirl cookies were a dream come true for the sweet tooth. Get yourself a nice cold glass of milk. This place is a must try if you live in or visit Bastrop, TX.
