The food is very fresh. Staff was very friendly & the place is so gorgeous. They have done a phenomenal job here. I got the Cesar salad & mac & cheese. I felt like the salad could have been more flavorful. It was pretty plain. I got ranch instead of Cesar, but the Ranch had a very fishy taste. For someone who doesn’t like seafood, I couldn’t finish it. The mac & cheese was good, but better shared between 2 people. My wife loved her meal.
We’re going to come back & I’ll try a couple other items. They just opened so they will get better & better I’m sure.
We had a wonderful meal. The service was great, cocktail and wine were very nice, and the food was delectable. Can’t wait to come again. Thank you so much!
So so so good! Such a nice addition to Bastrop. Great service, knowledgeable, hard to find around here. We had the salt & vinegar fries, focaccia with compound butter, Caesar, duck gumbo, and Texas Waygu. Phenomenal seasoning, great flavor profiles. The Bramble was a delicious cocktail. Unfortunately we did not save room for dessert. Next time!
Superb dining experience! It has been a while since I have had my "socks knocked off" at a restaurant, and I am pleased to announce that The Storehouse Market and Eatery left me with no "socks". I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste, and I'm dying to go back and try every item on the menu!
If you're looking for a fine dining experience, look no further. This is the perfect blend of ambiance and class -- not forgetting the texture and taste that will have me returning for more. Inside seating provides a perfect aesthetic, while their outdoor patio and bar area can host Happy Hour or appetizers, if you don't have a large appetite. Be sure to try to the oysters as a starter and the Adult Mac and Cheese - which will make you forget your first name! The Drum fish was cooked perfectly with a hint of Cajun flare, accompanied with rice and veggies. I nearly thought I was finished until I heard about the Creme brulee, which was perfectly finished with a crisp, sugar shell, and perfectly smooth, yet not too sweet center. I am certain it is the best I had ever had.
Please go, try the Storehouse Market and Eatery for a night out you will not forget!
We tried Storehouse 2 weeks ago and are returning this evening. It's great to have a restaurant that combines great food and service with a nice outdoor eating option (with heaters!). We really enjoyed our dinner and look forward to many more visits.
