McAlister's Deli

I had the horseradish cheddar cheese roast beef sandwich. That was very tasty. The steamed broccoli was very good as well.

This was my first visit to McAlister's Deli, and I selected it based on many positive reviews online. I was not disappointed. The deli is spacious, the food selection great; the food was delicious, and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I was with a large group celebrating a birthday, and the staff went out their way to accommodate our requests. I was impressed with the dinnerware as well. It was such a treat not to be eating off of paper or plastic in a fast food environment.

Update to review below: The company not only replied to the review but followed up with me personally. I have ordered ahead since I posted the review and the issues I previously mentioned have improved and we had a much better experience. Based on the improvement and follow up, I give it 5 stars. This company genuinely seems concerned about the individual experience and is really striving for customer satisfaction. I appreciate a business that listens to its customer base. Will definitely visit again.

I've been doing the order ahead pick up and both times that I've done it, the food hasn't been ready. It seems to take about half an hour each time from placing the order to them completing it while I wait in store. The food is usually very good but the portion sizes for some products like the mac n cheese are much different than ordering in store. My teenaged boys like the mac n cheese and both times they were given a small cup with a spoonful at most. Not a big spoon, a small spoon, a one bite portion. They tend to overload the bags and they usually results in containers falling out during the drive. When they have the food ready to go, fix their portion sizes and bag the food better, I'll bump it up to 5 stars. Otherwise, if you're eating in restaurant, it's always a good experience and the staff are super nice.
