Our bar tender was just so funny and attentive to our needs. Bang up job guys!

I'd like to throw a special shout out to the 111 Bar & Grill. Its served covered in pecan and crawfish sauce that I cant speak high enough praises of. Its the one dish here that I don't think anyone could regret getting. And creamed mashed potatoes give it this amazingly classic feel that I absolutely adore.

$17.95 breakfast is way spendy! I did get a dinner here, I had the salmon spinach salad. It wasn't super exciting and was actually cheaper than breakfast haha. The drinks are pretty expensive also, I would have expected more reasonable prices from this mediocre hotel.

The food was really good and we enjoyed ourselves for the most part. However the male bartender had a constant scowl on his face for the whole week trip we were there. He rudely took our order every time we went there to dine and drink. I understand having a bad day, but to have no smile or manners for the whole week was very off-putting.

However, The rest of the Wyndham staff were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. They made sure all our needs were met and went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice vacation. I’ve never seen such a contrast between the hotel staff and the hotel bar.

I had the Cowboy Steak and it was very good. My hubby had the Blackened Redfish which was a bit dry, with little flavor. The manager, however, was very accommodating and offered us desserts on the house. The ambiance and decor should be revitalized, but the location is prime. Prices are affordable. We will visit again. 🙂
