Big, delicious portions and fast service for a busy restaurant. 4/5 stars because they charged me full price (price of chips & salsa on menu) for just 1 extra salsa with my chips and salsa purchase, also the bathroom wasn't the cleanest and it had a very bad smell. Wish they had some spicy salsa (habanero, etc) like the ones I've had at other Mexican restaurants. But overall the food taste was very good and I will definitely recommend this restaurant to other foodies.
Oh. My. God. Just go eat here. You won't regret it. The enchiladas were amazing, they have this amazing chili on them. The chilaquiles were creamy and spicy and perfect. Just the plain beef taco was spectacular, best I've ever had. I have no photos because I dove into my plate and never stopped.
This was a good stop! I'm not sure I'm quite sold on "award winning" but it was a pleasant and quick lunch. The Cheese Enchiladas and Taco combo was good. I'd say it's comparable to the average Mexican food back in Florida where I'm from. I'm also used to much cheaper food of this quality.
Staff is thoroughly cleaning tables between guests and sanitizer is available in multiple locations.
We did sit for a considerable amount of time waiting on our check in a not-so-busy dining room...
If you're in the area check it out! I would not drive into town just for this food though.
