This was a great find. We travel to San Antonio several times a year and this place is our best discovery for eating and hanging out. If you get a chance stop by here and see how friendly of a staff and great the food is here. If I could rate them beyond awesome I would.

Ordered the fried calamari, very good and filled me up just right. Our server Marissa was polite and checked on us regularly during our meal. Entrees take a little while to make but are totally worth the wait.

Always love coming to Barbaro some if my favorite pizza ever. They always have a great drink selection from beer, wine or spirits. I have never had a bad waiter or bartender. Service has always been top notch. The downside if you go during a busy time once you order your food you will wait a rather long time. That never fails the latest time it took an hour after we ordered for the food to arrive.

Had a delicious brunch, had the Croque Madame and it was fabulous. My friend had the hash dish and it was good but not the best. Have been in the evening as well and their pizza is very good. I like the atmosphere. Small restaurant which makes it intimate and never too crowded.

The food was good to great! We had brunch and pizza, all delightful. Drinks were good too.

The service left a lot to be desired. Near the end of brunch a lot of their dishes were unavailable. I understand a dish not being available, but the server said the restaurant ran out of potatoes, which is something they should plan for. Wait for food was very long, and the server would leave for long periods at a time. Overall, we may go back, give them another shot (for the pizza and pancakes). Hopefully it was just a one time service issue.
