Perfectly charming for a brunch spot! Would return!
Came during the Latin Jazz Brunch they hosted and I really enjoyed it. I arrived early and didn't have a reservation so I sat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and informative (since it was my first time) at first glance the brunch menu seemed simple but each dish has it's own twist. I had the chicken and biscuits and was super pleased. Portions are just right. Cocktail menu was enticing, plenty of creative cocktails as well as your traditional mimosas and bloody Mary's not to mention they have Irish whiskey flights! Live music usually starts at 11 ( although I recommend arriving early because it seems to get fairly busy). Most importantly the staff handles the crowd well. It got very busy and I wasn't forgotten(and I was a party of 1). Multiple servers, bartenders approached me to make sure I was taken care of. Oh and fair warning the coffee is strong! Tasty but strong
Day vs evening are very different experiences. Daytime staff are attentive but the prices make it very hard to justify, particularly with better alternative in same price range mere minutes away by foot. Coffee is average, but nothing to write home about. Their happy hour and bar on the other hand is wonderful. The staff is extremely attentive at the tables, their signature cocktails are great (Bee's Knees is worth a try), and they have a decent collection to choose from.
Fantastic happy hour specials! A friend and I shared two appetizers, each had two drinks, and each had a quesadilla for dinner, and we each came out under $22. Food was good, drinks were good, great atmosphere. Limited menu, but something for everyone.
Nice place with a good happy hour. Well-made craft drinks and good service. Eclectic clientele made it comfortable, while still a little upscale.
