WiseGuys - A Chicago Eatery

Been coming here for years. Food is always exceptional. I do wish they would put some cheese on top of the meat to help hold it in place. That behind said quality and quantity marry up nicely here

If you are carving taste of Chicago, you are going to the right place! I am literally living a few blocks away from it and i never discover this place, until today. I love Italian beef and i never had a good one out of Chicago. But these guys have a delicious Italian beef, which is soft and tender and the pickled bell pepper, carrot and onion on that was fresh and crisp, served on a fresh bun and came with delicious fries. This place became my new favorite place and i will come back for more I.B and trying other sandwiches.

Only eaten here once, so I asked what their recommendation is, the Philly cheese steak is their most popular item so I gave it a try. It was overall pretty good, the bread was soft and fresh. The steak, onions and cheese good, could have used a little more flavor though. Not the best Philly, but far from the worst. I got fries with it, they we're good too. Large helpings of both, more than I could eat.

This place is the go to spot for Chicago taste. I used to go to Wrigleyville grill, but this place has touched my soul, and I will be returning. The Italian beef sandwich was very yummy. The customer service was very nice, and the staff very helpful.The only issue was the smell I was greeted with upon entering. Nonetheless, I stayed, tuned out the sort of sour mop water smell, and enjoyed every bite of my food. The portion sizes are actually big, and is enough to eat over a course of 2 days.

I love Wiseguys! I'm actually from Chicago and this place gives me a good dose of home. Plus, the food is delicious! The wait staff is extremely friendly, too. I go here with my friends every Wednesday and have for about a year and the employees recognize us and always have a little conversation with us! All the good here is great but I especially love their gyros. Their red velvet cake is also to die for! The restaurant is decorated in Chicago decor and they actually have a street sign from the street I used to live on. It's a really unique place that's clean, friendly, and delicious to eat at.
