Pesto Ristorante - Olmos Park

Wonderful service, wide ranging menu, and delicious food! Pesto is definitely a place to return again and again.

I was really expecting great food from this place because of the other reviews but everything we tried was flavorless. The only only good thing was the bread. We tried the salmon, eggplant parmesan, some parmesan crusted chicken and tiramisu. The chicken was good. Portions were all small. Eggplant with pasta was really bad and so was the tiramisu, we tried it and didn’t eat anything else. The place is nice and service was good although the waitress forgot an appetizer we ordered but overall was good. I do not think I would go back.

EVERYTHING was amazing; food exceptional creamy, smooth, savory. Man, and the veggies were the best I ever taste. I didnt add salt to anything, I did add and it wasnt too salty just magnificent. The wine was great as well, I dont like my want dry and it was I like sweet wine, perfect not too sweet, just right to know I was actually drinking wine. I would recommend this place to every and anyone.

Fantastic food, wonderful ambiance and staff. My server was Ysa and she is the best! 10/10 reccomend!

The food was good, as was the price, so if that's all that's important to you than consider this a 5 star review. The reason for the 3 star review was all about the service. We did have a large party of about 20, but it was arranged well ahead of time, so in my opinion the restaurant had every opportunity to be prepared. For whatever reason, we only had one server, so our food didn't come out anywhere near the same time (3 in our party didn't get their food until literally everyone else had finished eating). I asked 3 times for a drink refill and never got it, I ended up just drinking untouched water from around the table. I'll go back to this restaurant for the food, but not with a large party.
