Chicken Express

Fast and friendly service. Livers and gizzards combo with mini jalapeño poppers are a 10/10. Well worth my 40 minute drive.

Great location. The crew works very fast and efficiently. The restaurant and facilities are very clean. The manager Carolyn and her staff are very welcoming and warm-hearted. Food is always excellent. Some of the best fried chicken in the San Antonio. I've been a Chicken Express fan since college, and am happy to see y'all are finally in San Antonio.

I ordered drive thru at this Chicken Express location for dinner. I hadn't been to a chicken express for a few years. Anyhow, the person at the speaker/window, I believe her name was Annie, was so friendly and answered all of my questions. We had a bigger order and sometimes big orders can come out soggy and/or cold. To my surprise, everything was hot and crisp. The chicken was delicious and the fries were so good, crispy and hot. We got the poppers , mac and cheese as well as biscuits. Everything was delicious and fresh! I will definitely come to this spot when wanting some fried chicken again. The food also came out fast which surprised me because another Chicken Express in a different town was pretty slow.

I really enjoy this chicken express employees are very friendly. The manager Caroline is very nice. When we come back food is always fresh and hot chicken is nice and crispy and still juicing. French fries made fresh to order. Coleslaw is delicious and cold. Tea is always very good here. I recently Tried to hush puppies and those are very good. I definitely recommend if you have not tried them to try them.
