La Fogata Cantina - Alamo Heights

Very busy when we arrived on a Friday at 5:30. Make a reservation if you can. We ate at bar, which was still very good.

The margaritas are delicious and beautiful. Each margarita comes with an orchid! Wow! We had house margaritas on the rocks with half salt. A fun evening.

Had a great experience at this new location! We had a party of more than 20 people & the hostess sat all of us together. They wait staff was so helpful- gave us recommendations, extra chips & salsa and were so friendly. The decor was beautiful- cute spot for pics! Will definitely be back for their $5 margaritas which we very good- have to try the Sangria Margaritas & the Tacos Norteños.

Love that I have a new Fogata sucursal close to home. The food taste as good on the Fogata at Vance Jackson. Great service. The only missing thing is the live mariachi music. Other than that this is a great place.

OMG!! Fantastic food and service. One of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had recently in San Antonio. Ordered flautas, a dish I always got at the original La Fogata. Even better at this location. Also got a Margarita…maybe the smoothest I’ve ever had anywhere. Will definitely be back. Be sure to park at the back of the building, though, cause that’s where the entrance is.

The food at this restaurant was amazing. Cooked to perfection and looked great on my plate. Also decided to try their house margarita. It was made in a timely fashion and tasted awesome. All of the staff were great as well. They helped me with all of my questions and made sure I felt welcomed. 100% going to come back here soon!
