La Generala

Excellent nopal tacos.

Got a chance to try this place for lunch and it extremely pleased with it!

I had the generala plate and my coworker had the Cholitas tacos. I think it was priced fairly, and got a lot of food for the amount. The generala plate came with two meats super flavorful meats and 3 massive fresh, homemade tortillas. It also came with two sauces, a salsa and creamy avocado which were both fantastic. My coworker also really enjoyed his plate as well, although it seemed a little smaller for me.

Each taco is priced at $4, but with such massive tortillas, I would say most people will be full with just 2 of them which is very good price!

The owners were really sweet too and truly cared that you enjoyed the food. This will likely become a lunch break staple.

I ordered a quesotaco with asada and it was so good. It had flavor and I only needed one because it was huge. The only downfall there is they have no chicken but other than that it was so worth it.

The most authentic and delicious Mexican tacos in San Antonio! Amazing hand-made tortillas! Would totally recommend !

Seriously, excellent service, delicious food my husband and I are always looking for new places and this one was totally approved. Handmade tortillas are the best. Salsas are exquisite.
