As my wife and I were looking for a good place to eat that had outdoor seating and was pet friendly, we came across this food truck park “Street Fare SA” (review for it coming soon), a quick review of today’s food trucks roster and we were sold, off we went. We have sort of an unofficial tradition with food truck parks; we walk around all the trucks, review their menus, get excited about pretty much all of them and after 15-20 minutes of deliberation we finally choose something. This time, things were a bit different, there was the one menu item that from the very first time we saw we knew we were getting: “Birria Ramen” from Let’s Smoke Food Truck. The combination sounded crazy enough that it might work. It absolutely did. We love traditional ramen and I am from the town where Birria was born, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The flavor of the traditional Birria broth and the tender beef in cahoots with the characteristic ramen noodles, create an uncanny version of both typical comfort foods.

Now, we’re very excited to see what “Let’s Smoke Food Truck” is going to come up with next, because as I was talking with John (the brains and soul of the operation), the limit is their imagination; new interpretations and concoctions for new and intrepid versions of Mexican staples are yet to come, and I promise, we’ll be there to try them.

Amazing food made always with Love. Birria tacos are amazing as are the tortas, ratchet corn and asada fries. And boy does the ramen hit the spot. Never been disappointed coming here and you won’t either.
