Great experience!
Chilaquiles were cheesy, the carne con chile is very delicious and VERY spicy! Restaurant decor is colorful! Staff is very friendly, homemade flour tortillas were a plus!
Very tasty. Great prices and specials. Nice owner/staff. Highly recommend 👍
"Amarillo by morning". . . a perfect song for completing a breakfast taco run to this canary yellow painted restaurant. I would also offer "Midnight at the Oasis" as another attribute capturing song title, but this is a typical taqueria with a witching hour of 2 pm.
Parking is a Rubick's Cube activity finding that three sides of the property are actually numbered slots for public pay parking. After a couple of circumnavigations and u-turns the final solution came via one of five or so spots parking on the street in front of the restaurant. How are your parallel parking skills?
Shut the front door, the back door and the shutters! The menu prices read like what you get with a 50% discount from Mexican food restaurants with a more northerly latitude.
Mostly some good basic Tex-mex. Chip service was a flimsy, 5 and 10 cent store (what's that!), dayglo green, plastic bowl of a few, almost fresh chips. The 2 enchi 2 puffy, guac, rice / beans plate broke the bank at $8. The puffies were about 5 psi low, but I will definitely not bother checking for a leak at that price.
Not the same owner as the other Oasis on Main street. As many "decamesas" (what we call dives and cafes having 10 tables or less) as we have been to it seems there is always one more.
This little piece of heaven has always been a favorite of mine thanks to my sister! I've taken my wife to experience the delicious food and service. The food is outstanding! I recommend enjoying all they have to offer! The sweet tea is a must! Great hideaway that offers a big punch! Family owned and ran, which will better your experience here! Lots of parking but not as many tables inside. If it's busy... You'll understand why so many come to enjoy! Now... who's hungry?
