Tried out peri peri tonight for the first time and my son and I loved it! Chicken had such a great flavor of spices and a citrus tang! The rice was fresh and seasoned very well. I tried the medium sauce. We’ll definetly be back!
Food was really good. A must try is the peri sauce. Depending on your spice tolerance, start from mild to spicy. If it does get spicy, try their garlic sauce.
I fell in love with Peri Peri chicken the first time I ever had almost 20 years ago. Unfortunately, there aren’t many places in the US that has Peri Peri chicken. Luckily, I was looking online and found Peri Peri Republic had opened this year.
I finally made it there over the weekend and it was great!
I had the half chicken with a side of spicy rice and my son had classic chicken burger with fries. We loved the flavor. They have multiple levels of seasonings and spices based on what you like, from mild to inferno.
We will definitely be back for more!
Chicken was moist and juicy and the mango lassi was delicious, the creamed corn is just corn and not cream corn per se. It's a bit pricey for what you get and the chicken skin is not crispy but wet from the sauce, thought would be crispy from the grill and topped with sauce but it was just wet. We also ordered hummus but it didn't come to the table. I will say, service and staff were lovely and it's super clean inside.
Great lunch!
The chicken and rice were fantastic! The corn on the cob was not quite as good. The hummus was extremely tasty, but needed more olive oil. Some of the best sauces we have ever had. We will definitely be back! We definitely recommend that you carry ice!
