Pizzeria Vesuvio

We live in Southtown and tried the pizza a few weeks ago for the first time (not sure how we went this long without trying). It's always nice to be able to support local businesses, especially in trying times, but it's even better when that local business exceeds expectations. Both times I've called to order pizza the staff have been incredibly nice, authentic and generous. It's one of the few places I actually enjoy calling. The pizza is wonderful, especially the crust. We are so happy this place is in our neighborhood!

This was THE BEST experience I could imagine. Not only is ambiance amazing, but the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Delicious wines. Also — house made GLUTEN FREE PIZZA! Absolutely to die for.

We’ve had a *lot* of GF pizzas and this is the best of the best. You should stop here no matter what. We will be back ASAP!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We just left and had such an amazing time! Food was delicious! Their homemade ranch, desserts, and homemade CHEESE are delicious. Pizza and wings are soo good, we couldn't stop eating! Ambience is very cozy, fun, relaxing. Perfect for a chill night with friends and a bottle of wine. And they have outdoor heaters for cold weather! Their service is 5 stars, Esteban will ensure you're truly taken care of. Everyone there will make you feel right at home. I could not have dined in a better place this evening. The experience from start to finish is just unbelievably perfect. Definitely coming here again!?

Esteban is truly one of the best servers I've ever had. He's so personable and sweet and deserves the most recognition. I truly feel this place is just the perfect place to truly enjoy yourself. A glass or two of their Chardonnay and they have me wrapped around their fingers. The pizza is truly delicious and it continues to bring me back. Their options are delicious. I couldn't recommend this place enough. During cold nights, they even bring out personal heaters and warmers to keep you feeling your best. I couldn't ask for more! 10/10 recommend!!!!

Small place we found when we googled places to eat in San Antonio. We kinda took a roll of the dice on this place and we had no regrets. At first we pulled in and noticed a nice little outdoor seating area in front of a home that was converted into a business place. The food was cooked in a mobile food truck in the driveway.... but don't let that deter you. The owner was on site and was the person that greeted us, took our order and made sure everything was perfect. This location is both English and Spanish language friendly. The pizza and service was top notch. Please don't let the first appearance of a mobile food truck fool you, this place is definitely on fire and its a location I will visit again on my next trip to San Antonio.
