Sakura Japanese Sushi and Grill

Good good and reasonable prices. Service was fantastic. The waiter, sushi chef and kitchen chef all came out to ask how everything was. Drinks were never empty.

The place is very underwhelming with little decor and very dated. The hotel that the restaurant is in is horrible. This would be a five star review if the location was better.

If you don't mind dated decor, the food and service is great.

Best restaurant in Alvin! Food is delicious ????But I was very disappointed when they closed early whenever they feel like it. I even called ahead to ask & they said they were open till 9 got there at 8:30 & they refused to serve us. Said sorry we are closing early. This is not the first time this has happened so that’s why I called. Food is great but what a let down for your loyal customers!

The restaurant is clean. We were greeted and seated, promptly. Our food arrived in a timely manner, as described on the menu. We are big sushi fans. The three stars are for the bitterness and thickness of the sea weed. It overwhelmed the dishes that we love, elsewhere.

Delicious sushi prepared by an experienced chef, the restraunt is very relaxed and clean. The food is fairly priced and you should expect to spend around 10-20$ depending on how many roles or meals you get. Parking is always a breeze and the wait staff are very friendly. The average wait time for food is around 8 minutes or 15 if they are crowded. If you are an avid sushi eater or a beginner this place is for you, the sushi needs no soy sauce to taste good. The fish is always fresh and tasty. Great place to take friends or family for a quality meal.

Absolutely sweet people! And great food. They truly deserve more customers. The only thing I have a problem with is that the restaurant is in a hotel and it can be a bit creepy if you're alone
