Zum Gasthaus Restaurant

Great German restaurant. The food is amazing.

The atmosphere is very basic inside (kind of reminds me of my grandmas dinning room), but is hands down the best German Food in the area.

Casual dining,good food and good service.

The food is satisfactory and authentically Bavarian. The feel of the restaurant is also very homely and Bavarian style. The big hit for me is that they serve schnitzel with melted swiss cheese and the kraut is sweet. This is not a fine dining establishment at all. The dining area is messy and cluttered near the back. I have eaten here during lunch a few times and there has yet to be another customer come in. The one guy that is always working here is accommodating, but not overly in your face. There is one TV that will have the news on. Zum Gasthaus is where you want to go if you miss the feel of the old Wurst Haus, before they turned it into primarily a bar.

Food was very good. The A/C system needs work, but I put that on the landlord. Building is okay. Service was fast! People were friendly, very helpful and efficient. The schnitzel was very good. I enjoyed the fried potatoes! We had dinner and my beef roll was outstanding, my companion had the schnitzel which was very tasty. I would go back.
