We love Indian cuisine and have not quite been able to find somewhere that we love all the dishes we normally get. Everything we ordered from here was AMAZING. Highly recommend the goat bryani and butter chicken. This will definitely be one of our regular spots.
We tried this place for the first time and were very impressed!! The food quality was great, and everything we had was fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly and helpful; one of the owners was there and he went around to the tables welcoming guests to the restaurant as it’s been open only a short time. Glad to have this in Pearland and we’ll be back soon!
Got a take out. Chilly pepper chicken, Manchurian rice, and sweet corn soup were all delicious, authentic, and spicy. Good quantity. They took some time to get the order ready though. Hopefully that improves.
We came to Monks for the soft opening. We ordered chilli garlic paneer, monks special fries, butter masala chicken, and garlic naan. The food was excellent! The fries had a good kick. The other dishes were mild but still very flavorful. Next time, we will go spicier.
We would love to be back to try some of their drinks and other Indo Chinese items.
Finally a good indo chinese place near pearland!
The food was fresh and tasty.
If you want a spicier variety, try the gully chicken( or gobi) and ask for it double extra spicy.
I tried the gobi manchurian, gully chicken, drums of heaven, Chinese bhel and gulab jamun.
The portion sizes were good and it has a nice sit down vibe.
My favorites were the gully chicken and manchurian.
For the drums of heaven, I recommend trying with one of the sauces. Chinese bhel was crispy.
The gulab jamun was nice and soft.
I went for the indo chinese food, will try out the Indian next time. They seemed to have a variety of biryani and noodles.
Note: indo-chinese is a subset of indian food and has nothing to do with Chinese food.
I inquired and the meat is halal.
