Panda Buffet

The restaurant now only provides menu for dine in or takeaway. The food is flavorful and service is friendly. If it's nice outside, walk across the street and enjoy your meal outdoors.

We ate here in April 2021. At that time, due to Covid, we could only order take-out. It was yummy, so we were looking forward to coming back during this visit. We've never known this place as a buffet, so that is not disappointing to us. I guess it is for some people because the staff immediately pointed that out as we walked in. We ordered from the lunch menu. Meals were brought out in to-go style containers instead of plates. Whatever. It works. I ordered the pepper steak with onions. It was delicious. I don't remember what my husband ordered, but here's a photo of it. He said his was also delicious. Our server was friendly, but she never came back. We didn't need anything until it was time to get our ticket. We went to find her. She was chopping veggies in the kitchen. The guy at the cash register says that we pay there. That would've been nice to know. We wouldn't have sat there so long waiting for the server to come back. At one point, I used the ladies room. I guess it was clean, but it's hard to tell. The building is extremely old and that bathroom really shows its age. It's pretty gross-looking. The place badly needs updating. Their food is delicious though.

The inside is closed but we took our food to go, ate on top of a mountain with a gorgeous view, and watched the sunset! The food and service was great and we created a wonderful memory. This may be a new tradition when we visit. We had the Hunan Chicken, Beef with Mixed Vegetables, Fried Rice, Spring Rolls, Egg Drop Soup, and Hot and Sour Soup. All delicious! Since the portions are so large we are going to eat it for breakfast too. 😋
