“Great food truck! Lots of creative options, and of course the classics. Perfect for anyone who likes Hot dogs. The order took around 10-15 minutes and it seemed like there were quite a few other parties. We tried The Artisan & Chicago, and they’re both really good!!”

“A diamond in the desert. We found this place heading out of town and are glad we stopped. I highly recommend the Pu-Pu Platter as an appetizer. The shrimp and fried pot stickers also made our appetizer list, both were great. For our main courses, we had orange chicken, sesame chicken and cashew shrimp. All dishes had ample portions and tasted great. Going out of town past the Hampton Inn, look for it on the left. See outside picture so you don't miss this awesome little restaurant.”

“Best restaurant in Alpine. Great environment with a nice cool patio seating area. Our server was awesome and very friendly. Shout out to Christian. All our food was awesome. Highlight was the orange cheesecake and the steak. Awesome flavor and cooked perfectly”

“Pumps 5 & 6 are slow and buttons need to be maintenanced. The tellers are friendly and courteous. It's a nice clean store inside with helpful staff. They stock many unique items. I'll definitely drop by for convenient items and good service. With a little maintenance done outside on their pumps, this store would have 5 stars.”

“I’ve been eating here for close to five years now. Mostly the delicious cheeseburgers. I ate here again today and realized that I’ve never had a bad meal there in all this time. It’s the freshness. Which is always worth the wait. Highly recommend.”

“No frills bbq. Sausage was the highlight. Brisket wasn't tough, it had good flavor. Cash only. No cards which caught me off guard”

“One of my favorite places to dine and drink in Alpine. Friendly service, excellent menu that includes tapas for sharing, and a great selection of beer, wine and spirits. Laid back atmosphere with a killer back patio. Ask for a Big Bend Brewing beer!”

“If you are looking for authentic Thai cuisine out in west Texas, this is the spot! I’ve been to the original in Marfa plenty of times and this is my first time enjoying the dine in experience. Where to start. Everything on this menu is really tasty and cooked to perfection. The red curry is my usual go to and I always enjoy chicken fried rice. The amount of food they give you is over the top. If you are starved you will leave more than full. Believe me people this spot goes so hard! The atmosphere inside is very calm and the windows make for awesome light. Make sure to sit by the big window and check out the amazing view. Big thanks to Woody and his family for providing the area with a delicious option to dine for the community.”

“Fine, I’ll give it 5 stars. I’m super cheap and the Tater dish with green beans, mushroom, and cheese is pretty boss. It’s small for $16 (about the size of a large gumbo in NOLA valued at $10), but it’s quite tasty. The Caesar salad? Good, solid. The spinach and artichoke dip? Good but even better with their fried bread dipping chip thing. Boss, and quite unique of a design (instead of a chip or bowtie noodle). Their $45 steak? Excellent. In Houston or Dallas, it’s going to be $65 for the same steak with smooth, creamy mash potatoes and a subtle crunchy, well flavored green beans. Overall, pricey but it’s in a fancy hotel. Service at the bar table? Weak. The server is running the bar and the bar-tables so he couldn’t bounce from bar to our table very easily. Nice guy just mostly busy. So…5 star still b/c of the food.”

“Their key lime pie and carrot cake was amazing!! We had broccoli and cheese soup and the ham and cheese croissant both delish as well.... Can't go wrong with anything here!”

“Food was decent. Nothing special at all. Probably understaffed but realllllly slow service. Food came out quick but waiter was nowhere to be seen. Multiple other tables literally tracked him down to pay/order. Beans and rice were pretty good”

“We ate in the patio area, cause I had my dog with me. They came and took our drink order right away. When they brought our drinks they also bought a bowl of water for my dog. We had great service throughout the night and the food was excellent. One worker even brought some treats for my dog. Will definitely go back again.”

“Y'all, do NOT skip this place! What a pleasant surprise after our Big Bend trip! The food was excellent, the desserts were delicious and the service was great! I wish we had discovered this place at the beginning of our trip instead of on the way home so we could've eaten here more than once. Even the picky teenager wanted to go give the cook a high-five 😁👍 Don't miss out!”

“We ate here in April 2021. At that time, due to Covid, we could only order take-out. It was yummy, so we were looking forward to coming back during this visit. We've never known this place as a buffet, so that is not disappointing to us. I guess it is for some people because the staff immediately pointed that out as we walked in. We ordered from the lunch menu. Meals were brought out in to-go style containers instead of plates. Whatever. It works. I ordered the pepper steak with onions. It was delicious. I don't remember what my husband ordered, but here's a photo of it. He said his was also delicious. Our server was friendly, but she never came back. We didn't need anything until it was time to get our ticket. We went to find her. She was chopping veggies in the kitchen. The guy at the cash register says that we pay there. That would've been nice to know. We wouldn't have sat there so long waiting for the server to come back. At one point, I used the ladies room. I guess it was clean, but it's hard to tell. The building is extremely old and that bathroom really shows its age. It's pretty gross-looking. The place badly needs updating. Their food is delicious though.”

“The most hidden gem in Alpine! I honestly am in disbelief that anyone would want to get a burger anywhere else. This place is SO GOOD! I had the double burger with everything on it. I added bacon of course. Side salad is amazing, and it isn’t a wimpy side, it’s plenty. The family running this joint really has all the talent and the kiddo is pretty cool too. With limited places to eat, by far this is one of my faves! See pictures. You must be crazy to want to eat at SONIC!!!”

“My girlfriend and I visited Tri La Bite because of the great reviews we’d read. It was a bit difficult to time our visit because they’re only open 11:30am to 3pm, but we managed to get there just when they opened. I ordered a jalapeño popper burger with fried okra and my girlfriend got a grilled chicken wrap with fries. As other reviewers have mentioned, highly recommend getting the fried okra - it’s really good. They also have outdoor seating, but the weather was really windy, so we ate in our car. Most memorable part of the experience was being able to sign our names on their food truck. Really nice and cute place with great food.”

“This is the only little Ceasars pizza that I’ve gone to that never has the “hot and ready pizza”. You have to order first then they’ll make it. But I’ve recently started eating here again because the first time I ate here the bread was not cooked at all and it was very doughy. But they’ve certainly improved.”

“Popular spot with the locals. Food is nothing special but the people you meet here are the gem! Waitress, while very busy, gave us great service. Food came out rather fast for the amount of traffic in this restaurant. Fun atmosphere, loud, and crowded but that's what makes this place a must visit.”

“Stopped in here on a break from Big Bend. Business look alike it's fairly new, a few people inside and the music was horrible, however; the food was fantastic. My only other gripe would be the wait for the food was a little king, especially for lunch, but again; excellent food that made up for any ambiance issues. Highly recommend the Carne Asada Tacos. These look like hard corn but we're not, it's just the holders. Flavor for days! I'd go back in a heartbeat.”

“Service was great and the young lady at the window was very friendly. We tried 3 flavors, Texas Heat, Big Bend Buffalo and Asian Sweet Chili and all 3 flavors we great! The waffle fries were very good with a perfect amount of seasoning! We will have Wing Bros Alpine in our dining rotation each visit to Alpine. We chose to “dine in” sitting on the patio at Skeleton’s Runway next door which was also nice.”

“Our son purchased an orange and a mesquite rotisserie chickens along with a vegan salad for lunch on Wednesday. Delicious and fantastic taste. Great menu! Definitely will go back. Good service!”
