Not sure what’s going on here, but the organization of this place stressed me out. Every server was like an independent actor, no one working together, so no one really seemed to know what was going on. Credit to them working hard because it was busy, but it’s a free for all in there.
Enter through the back patio. There isn’t a host so we got a seat at the bar. It was raining outside… and inside onto the bar, with buckets kinda catching it.
The food came out faster than we expected, so that’s great. It was definitely edible! Got the enchiladas, which won’t blow your mind but will fill your stomach. They were out of beans so just gave me double rice. No salsa or any condiments come with it.
All you can eat CONDIMENTS!!! That’s right! Actual bottles of ketchup and mustard on your table! Since the Cornyvirus seems like every restaurant on earth took bottles of ketchup and mustard salt and pepper off tables. So annoying!!! Not High Sierra. They got squeeze bottles of mustard and ketchup along with real salt and pepper shakers. So in addition to that there is: Excellent service. Very good food. Nice prices. Great live music too. One of the better places in Terlingua. Not packed with tourists. Wait staff is very friendly
Stopped in on a cold rainy day for a nice hot lunch. Our waitress was very welcoming, helpful, fun and attentive. The food was delicious.
The service fast and efficient especially on a nice Sunny Sunday afternoon. The burger was Good and a nice size. The fries were crispy and hot. Decor typical for a bar restaurant.
