Very friendly staff!! Great food as well, plenty to choose from! They do have odd hours so keep an eye on that haha

I was heading thru town going past one appealing bbq joint after another from Brady to Burnet. Finally, the bbq gods made it happen with the perfect lunch timing, appropriate parking space and minimal wait line for service! The place was Bar-B-Q-Shak. This place has definitely been an evolution from take out place to one with seating. The service was fast and friendly and the brisket fantastical! They didn't have any pork bbq when I was there, so don't know if that would sway you against stopping.

Best BBQ in the Hill Country ! My personal favorite is the moist brisket and the ribs are a close second!

For BBQ off the beaten path, skip those other places in Llano and head to Burnet. I had the big turkey sandwich, it was nicely smoked and juicy. It came with beans, a bag of chips and a drink for $8.99 plus tax. My wife had the sausage wrap, along with potato salad, and she said it was delicious. This place looks small from the outside, but it has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We will be eating here again on our next trip.
