This is the cutest and best Mexican food place!! CONSISTENTLY great quality and outstanding service. The price is so reasonable. The owners do the cooking and it beats pretty much all of snooty, over-priced Austin. Food is always fresh and authentic. Best chili relleno! Never frozen and you can tell. Lots of love put into the food here. This is worth the drive. Cash only though, but it won’t break your wallet. You’ll be coming back for more. Love this place!!!!

I was staying a few nights in Granite Shoals so I did some research on the local restaurants. I couldn't believe how many people kept giving this particular place such nice reviews. Had to try it. NO REGRETS. The food was everything people said it was - authentic. And the prices were reasonable. It is a small mom and pop shop - my type of place. I wish I could find a place like this in Houston. Me and the misses went for breakfast and were both pleased. We went back again for dinner, but it closes early (3:00). Hence, this is mostly a breakfast/lunch type of place.
