Fresh pasta is my favorite thing in the world. Everything is farm fresh and local and the owners are pretty fantastic.
Get the popovers! Get two orders! They're to die for.
And they now have a house made watermelon fizz and even macaroni and cheese. ????

Food was fantastic, portions were great, and we really appreciated that there was a selection for the kids. Chicken fried steak is a must, and if you get a chance to try the pasta it’s great. Very glad the building is filled with good people and great food.

WOW! Very impressed with the food here. I got the vegan sandwich with green beans and fries, and my husband got the pork chop sandwich with the crispy fingerling potatoes. Everything was excellent, seasoned and cooked perfectly, but the fingerling potatoes have filled my DREAMS. I have been craving them ever since we ate them last week. They are crispy-fried in duck fat so they melt in your mouth. Yummmm.

Gotta give them props too for having good vegan options on the menu. I am not vegan currently, but was in the past, so I'm always looking for restaurants that do it right (surprise: there are not too many in Lockhart). The vegan sandwich is absolutely bursting with flavor and doesn't make you feel like you're missing out on anything. I will be happy to bring vegan friends here when they visit!

Wonderful food. We had the chicken fried steak and the spaghetti dish. Both were filling and beyond delicious. Blueberry lemon custard pie....OMG!!
