Cobbleheads

It's a nice place with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking a resaca (lake). Food is mostly bar food, but well made and reasonably priced. Fridays and Saturdays there is frequently live music.

Good selection of menu items. We received great service. The margaritas were very good. It was chilly the evening we were there and they do not have patio heaters. It does sit in one one of Brownsville's popular resacas so it's very scenic.

Had the Chicken Madera. A little flavorless. The sauce, the oil/butter had separated. Probably because it's overheated, lost the ability to emulsify. Mind you, it was my first time there. Also had the Tortilla soup 👎, just a red sauce full of cheese. Perhaps other dishes might be better. My husband had the Cobble burger. The burger was better than my dish, just needed a little more seasoning.

Wow... Cobbleheads restaurant has one of the most delicious burger I have ever had.. Custom made to order, added blue cheese crumbles and jalapenos and it was just delicious. My wife had the wrap beef tacos and she loved them. The waitress was very attentive and cordial never being gone for too long before coming to see if we needed anything. Very impressed with their service and a big menu to boot. Will definitely stop by again on our next trip to the Rio Grande Valley.. Loved it!
