“I heard of the grand opening a few days ago and I was excited to stop by, and finally got around to it. As soon as we walked in the cashier asked if it was our first time here and gave us a free chocolate chip cookie for being our first time. The staff automatically gave a great first impression and were all very humble, friendly and helpful! I ordered a #26, the Chicken Bacon Ranch and it did not disappoint! It was delicious. This place has to be by far my favorite sandwich place comparing to other sandwich places such as Subway, Firehouse Subs and that's because I love those places as well but they don't compare! The best part was we got our regular sandwiches free since we made a $3 donation! I will definitely be coming back here!”

“I really enjoyed the food here. Some of the meat on one dish was a bit chewy and full of grizzle so we didn’t eat much of it, flavorful but very difficult to chew. The waitress didn’t speak any English, but also didn’t try. We were pointing at the menu and trying our hardest to order but she kept speaking fast and faster in Spanish. She did get our orders right, but it was a bit frustrating. Overall, if I lived in Texas I would return but being that I live out of state, I likely wouldn’t seek it out again.”

“This is my parents favorite restaurant, now I understand why! The food speaks for itself. The food is delicious and amazing here!! I tried the Fajita Nachos, the fajitas were flavorful grilled and chopped no fat or chewy pieces and the cheese was the RIGHT kind of cheese, melted perfection! I also recommend their famous beef enchiladas 😋 they were so mouthwatering, I wanted more! They had the right seasoning and right cheese. It looks small from the outside but it was bigger inside then I expected, the staff was on top of everything, they had outstanding customer service! I will definitely recommend and I will be coming back. Thank you!”

“The service was excellent. The waitress was so attentive and sweet to our family. Mind you, we came with two toddlers, so it feels extra nice when someone sees how difficult it can be to have toddlers in restaurants. The food was delicious. I'm still trying out the restaurants here in the city of Harlingen, and I was impressed with how authentic and delicious the food was. We will be back!”

Drive through service is great but when you walk in to order, the clerks don't greet you like before or even acknowledge you. You have to interrupt then so they can take your order. “First time visit so we ordered something that would give us an opportunity to taste what I would think are flagship Mexican foods. Took the drive thru and someone came out to take our order as we waited. Ordered the Benny's Plate. Fajita Pancho's rice and two cheese enchiladas, with a drink. Order did not take long. Food was hot, fresh and well presented. Another plus was this visit did not break the bank. Definitely be back to try something new. Word of caution, I was told they sell out of food early, so it's best to stop in before 230 pm.”

“We were referred here by friends who frequent it. We really enjoyed the atmosphere with jukebox music in the afternoon. The full bar is lively with daily specials. Several craft beer options on tap. They have wine specials on Wednesdays. The limited menu until 3:00 pm is very good. We had the tortilla soup and cheeseburger. Both were outstanding. The soup has great flavor with cumin spices. The burger was cooked perfectly with great char and grilled flavor. The bun was light and flavorful too. I recommend the sweet potato fries. The staff was nice and helpful. Very clean place for drinks and food. My wife says the ladies room was very clean, which is always important for her. They also have covered outdoor seating with full service from Robbie a long-standing member of the staff.”
