Pirate's Landing

At first glance outside the restaurant, it seemed so fun with several pirate themed props for pictures, a little walkway with more props towards the water, a view of the pirate ship, and located right on the water. I assume with it being off season in November, the outside seating was closed and a total disappointment. We chose to eat here with less interest in the food menu after reading reviews (much better menu options and reviews at other restaurants), but so we could eat outside and look at the water. Several food options weren't available. Food was just edible. Not bad, but not good. Nothing except the chef salad was worth saying "man, thats good". Weird to say we would return for the decor, photo props options, and to view the water, but definitely not the food. Disappointed for sure.

Good place to get some seafood and drinks. Came here after doing the pirate ship cruise with kids. Convenient for that, but also not a bad place to just come and eat. All the food was prepared well, though most of what we got was fried.

Wow. What a fun place to take the family! I highly recommend the red fish! It was amazing! I’m usually a burger and fries type but wanted something different and I’m glad I did. Their drinks are phenomenal too. Cute little souvenir glasses to take home. The kids had a blast and a variety of food for them as well. Staff were all so nice and accommodating.

A very fun place to try! The outside area by the entrance has fun places to take photos. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining. Staff was incredibly kind and friendly. Our food was delicious. We had a group of 8 and all orders were correct and yummy. I ordered the shrimp tacos. Our other meals were: an order of wings, the steak, fajita salad, chicken fried steak, an order of oysters, and fried shrimp. The best part? The complimentary biscuits! If you want more, they do charge for extra biscuits but our waiter was kind enough to give us another order on the house. The view of the water if you sit by the windows is beautiful too. We used the restrooms and they were a tad dirty but that was the only thing I think they could improve on. Otherwise, we would totally go again!

What an adventurous day! On the way back from South Padre Island we landed on Pirates Landing. On entry, we were greeted by staff, and management. There was so much great Decour, history all over the walls, the bathroom was fairly clean, and the week took about 15 to 20 minutes. Even the wait time didn’t feel so long because there is so much to look at on every single wall. We finally got seated, our server was attentive, friendly, and brought all our beverages and appetizers out in a timely fashion. From the pictures, you will see that there is a beautiful plate of salmon salad, and a few other delicious items that I would highly recommend. While waiting for food, I took a trip outside to the patio, which you will see on the video, and then on our way out, there was a magician just floating around, making everybody feel happy and surprised with his tricks.
