Bunkers Snack Shack

First time here. Staff was friendly and made you feel welcome. Place is unique in decor liked it. Tried the firecracker chicken was not disappointed. Had spice and was nice and hot temperature wise. Egg roll on the side was just as good. Definitely be back to try other items.

Stopping by Bunkers Snack Shack was such an unexpected surprise before heading out on the water this afternoon.

It was hard for me to decide what to order, because the menu options were all so appealing. Ultimately, I opted to try the BLT on this 1st visit. It did not disappoint, and I don't think there was even one crumb left.

As a matter of fact, I normally take a lot of "food pics" when I go to places to eat for the first time, but I was immediately drawn to all of the historical memorabilia that has been carefully assembled for patrons to appreciate.

I couldn't stay in my seat. I had to hop up and walk around to enjoy---and get a better look at--- all of the details and historical artifacts that the owners of this establishment have carefully selected for guests to enjoy.

Great food, outstanding service, and a family-oriented atmosphere make this a must stop when you're in Arroyo City, TX!

Saw the little menu they had posted next to the change machine and the grilled cheese caught our eye. We weren't even hungry.

Not gonna lie. It might have been the best grilled cheese I've ever had. The cheese was gooey, the bread crispy, the brisket was smokey. A little spice to balance things out. It was great. Honestly. There's a reason there's no photos in this review. It far surpassed our expectations and was gone quickly.

Everyone was very friendly, the atmosphere was playful. You could tell there was some effort put into the space.

We'll be back for sure. This place is something else.

9 months later, still awesome! Owners are as friendly and attentive as ever. Food was still great.

Food was great tasting..and place was super clean !! Arroyo city has no restaurants...so this is great...i hope they expand their menu in the future!! It is fast food..but made to order!!

Ok, I’ll try and make this quick. I went in to get change for the carwash. I ended walking out with two of the Spicy Chicken sandwiches and the Fallout Burger. I had to go back for more (I was 10 Miles away), My KIDS, ended up eating it all (they wanted pizza), YEA KIDS. So, I went back and ordered more. Absolutely and totally worth it. Just got home, wife just told me to go get four more Spicy Chicken sandwiches…
