Enjoyed our visit there. We were returning home from vacation and stopped in. Food was quite tasty and the staff was very friendly. Price definitely affordable.
Located near the old mall area of the island, this hole in the wall place has some great options for everyone in the family no matter what you like.
There are mexican, seafood, and Italian options along with some American staples but the standout was the blackened fish tacos. Plenty of zest and flavor and a great take on the coastal seafood item.
Waiters and staff were on point and our waitress, Jessica I believe, was outstanding and had a great hospitable air that really made the atmosphere feel like you were eating a home cooked meal with friends.
All in all, a perfect experience when it comes to family dining and well worth the wait if you happen to be at the Island. Keep it up!
The best thing by far was the grilled shrimp tacos, but the wait was extremely long and an entre was forgotten. They only offer one free refill and the entire meal was lackluster. Overall, Cap'n Roy's was an alright experience but I likely will not be returning
The food was just okay and the service wasn't very pleasant I would have gave them another try but not after the way 3 different server's were towards me and my family
😕Kinda so so , the fish was a bit greasy for me but the shrimp was good. I had higher expectations to be honest because it's right by the ocean so I couldn't wait for the fresh flaky fish , didn't really get that. The burger wasn't bad neither but wouldn't really crave coming back. I'll keep looking 😉 and let everyone know we're the yummy is.
