Clayton's Beach Bar & Event Venue

Great Music and fireworks! Plenty of places to seat and enjoy a night. Don't expect air conditioning bathrooms. Drinks were decent but food orders were slow.

HUGE beachside bar/restaurant directly located on the beach at South Padre Island. Everything is bigger in Texas, right? We tried the pre-mixed drinks out of the slushy machines, honestly not too bad! We found our own place on the beach, and walked back to get refills. They don’t have waiters, you wait in line and pay per drink, and pick up your food at a window. They have a stage for live music, and a station to rise of the sand. I’d definitely go back.

Took advantage of their mixed drink menu and the large patio right on the beach. After 2 years of being away from South Texas, Clayton's provided the perfect spot to dive back in. Plenty of chairs and tables and live music on Sunday afternoon. Loved it!

I really like Clayton's restaurant. Though it's my first time going there, they made a good impression and I like the way they serve their food. They give many sauces unlike any other restaurant, not to mention the food is amazing too, etc. They've got many restrooms and they keep it clean. There's many seating options and there's a big bridge to go onto looking over the beach. I had a really good experience and would go again the next time I have a chance.

Love, love, love! Spent the majority of one day on their huge beach, had lunch, walked & waded in the ocean, picked up shells...food & service was excellent. Especially happy with the easy access to the beach. My aunt uses a walker & she was able to get right to the shore & put her feet in the water. What a perfect day! Hope to go back someday!
