One of the best Teppanyaki places that we have ever been to. Period. Great chef with awesome table side manners and absolute best grill showmanship. Great family owned place. The owner is such a sweet heart who came to hang out and shared stories to connect with us. Did I mention how awesome the food was? 🙂 We also had some sushi rolls and Hamachi salad and Yakisoba. So, it was a great experience overall for the entire family.

Had a great time here, our chef, Alex, for Hibachi was among the best I’ve ever had in all my hibachi places I’ve eaten at. He was funny, energetic, and made the experience for us! My steak was cooked perfectly, and the shrimp and chicken were fantastic, some places I’ve had are over cooked, it not here! Both the shrimp and chicken were tender and juicy and were phenomenal! I saw some bad reviews on here about service, and I can confidently say that we did not experience any of that and that they went above and beyond in terms of our expectations. If you are in the area, I HIGHLY recommend coming here for Japanese! I also has a sushi roll and it too was very good.

For pretty much the only sushi place on the entire South Padre Island (and they also do hibachi) the sushi was really fresh and tasty and the chef was so AWESOME that when I asked for smaller pieces on my roll (sick of trying to eat hockey pucks lol) he rolled it super tight and got 10 whole pieces out of a single roll for me and they all stcuk together enough to eat with chopsticks. Amazing!

Their mission soup is tasty. They don't seem to have any reasonably priced cold cloudy sake but whatever. Service was great. Clean and tasty.

Go for their bomb lunch specials. They have bento boxes and stuff but you can get 2 full rolls with soup for $14 until 4pm and a ton of the rolls on the list are at least 13 or 14$ alone. Greta deal for late sleepers!

Came in , sat at the sushi bar and was promptly greeted. Got all my rolls ordered and in a timely manner. Great sushi chef very friendly. Ordered 3 rolls and was not disappointed. The sweet green tea was bomb. Overall well worth the trip and vacay on the island. Here on military leave and so far, can’t wait to go back 🍣 💯💪
