“Prior to the pandemic, really enjoyed their Friday night Fried Fish and Shrimp buffet. The picture shows the take out version since buffet was discontinued. Last 3 orders have been trying, repeating the same order to the same employee over and over again. It’s near impossible to place an order by phone or in person and get exactly what you ordered. Last visit, ordered double pinto beans and got double gumbo. Unfortunately, was already home when discovered. Try their BBQ sliced beef (sandwich or plate) or ribs. They are delicious!”

“I’d seen this restaurant many times on my way thru Alto and always wanted to stop but never got to until today. I’m so glad we did! We came for Sunday buffet lunch and it was fabulous!! The best fried steak I’ve had in years. Everything was homemade and wonderful. I live 2 hours away and I will plan another visit very soon.”
