Papa Lopez Mexican Cantina

Finally decided to swing by and give this place a try. It's right off the Sam Rayburn Tollway and Lake Forrest Drive so we drove by numerous times. The food was good and the staff was friendly. The place looks bigger from the outside but rather small inside and an older restaurant. Service was super quick as well. I would visit again when in the mood for Mexican meals.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. Service was excellent. Shout out to our server Rainey45 (hope that's correct)! Drinks (margaritas) were great, very reasonably priced and be careful pretty strong. :) Five people in our party and everybody enjoyed their food.

Upgrading to 4 stars. Every time I go I see the manager having a good time. Great staff all around. Never had bad service. Never had bad food. One of my go to spots.

Always get good service here. We come here two or three times a month. The food here is always consistent and comes out fast. I love the blue corn enchiladas. The street tacos are great too. Kids eat free some nights.
