Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar

I had heard this restaurant chain came from CA. I thought, cool a restaurant with a dog theme with a beach vibe? We walked in and saw cowboy/ranch theme with the staff all in plaid shirts. Huh? Overall, food was good but our server was clearly unfamiliar with the menu and when we asked about the beer options she had to run to the bar and ask. We probably won't be returning. We have plenty of western themed restaurants here already, was hoping for something different.

This definitely is think out of the box kind of restaurant! I loved their calamari. It was not fried and it looked more like a Japanese/Chinese restaurant plate with calamari more than anything else. They have odd dishes with weird names Yet they are all GOOD. HIT it OVER it will a good experience!!!????

Lazy Dog is the ultimate in Scratch kitchen dining. Fantastic, Amazing. Blows Cheddar's and Black Walnut out of the water by milestones. The bacon candy is to die for and the PB&J burger is a top burger choice of mine from here on. Service is excellent. The waiter knew a lot. Was very informed, and had a lot to say about any menu item we asked about. We also ordered Wok fried Calamari. It's made with a plumb sauce and I've never had anything quite like it. They also have their own selection of brews to choose from. Very clean tables and restaraunt. 5 out of 5 stars for me. I will be back to check out their brunch specials.

Their time eating at lazy dog and I have loved it all three times. Great food and great service. I would highly recommend the PB&j Burger. I know what it sounds like but it is awesome. I personally recommend asking for extra peanut butter.

Great atmosphere suitable for outings with friends or family. The restaurant is spacious and has booth, table, bar, and patio seating. Dogs welcome in the patio seating area which is nicely shaded. The menu has a large selection making it easy for everyone to find something they would like. There is a separate children's menu with all of the traditional favorites. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great food and drinks all around.
