Your restaurant seemed appealing until I looked at and read your portion amounts. Your lower prices are useless if you end up still hungry and unsatisfied. Just look at the long lines at high priced seafood places.
Okay we are all looking for a new place to eat or have a drink, well I found that place last night. I hadn’t stopped because I thought it was a high priced steak and seafood place. Well I was wrong. The staff is great, they treat you like you were their only customer. The menu is great and the prices are even better. The food was wonderful. We ordered ribeye steaks that were cooked perfect. This is a family business. Bryan & Karl Nelson have a great place. I am a realtor and this is my new go to place to take my clients.
Feels upscale but not stuffy, menu is a little limited but everything is well made. Cheese plate & fried okra are highlights. Trout & redfish both great. NY strip was delicious, great chat & flavor, although way too much gristle for the price. Staff is friendly and attentive, although short of fine dining caliber.
Was very surprised at how good everything was. That’s good, service and ambiance. Bryan serves steak and seafood along with salads and sides at reasonable prices. It’s not a fancy steakhouse but the food was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back.
We came here for the gumbo offered by the previous owner, were surprised and delighted st the newly remodeled premises and the expanded menu. The gumbo is still great, the fried catfish is even better, and there are additional offerings such as steak, hamburgers, and much more. We had 5 different offerings, loved them all, thought the prices were very reasonable too. The new owner greeted us at our table and surveyed us. They now have table service instead of order-at-the-counter, and They also serve a wider array of cocktails and beer, as well as the traditional soda, ice tea, etc. a very satisfying and tasty experience, we shall return often.
