Very nice staff friendly and knowledgeable. Large variety Of fresh food. Complete bar wine and cocktails. At certain times of day some wait but usually seated immediately.

Unfortunately I was too full from eating a late lunch to order a meal. However the other 6 people with me did and loved the food. Since coming home I have "tasted" what I missed and can say I will go back to sample a meal of my own. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The server was very attentive and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

What a great place to eat at the Star! Down home southern cooking. The fried chicken is absolutely amazing both bone in and the sandwich! The shrimp and grits are by far the best thing on the menu... even if you do not like grits. The shrimp were a little too zesty in the red sauce and a bit too much of it, but great none the less.

We visited for happy hour and had a great experience. The $2.50 domestics are quite a steal! The happy hour foods are very yummy. We tried the fried pickles, mac and cheese bites, and BLT tacos. The fried pickles are more like chips and they're unique and yummy. The mac and cheese bits with gravy are a great idea and taste good too. The BLT taco was good, but I'd rather have another order of the pickles and mac and cheese. The bartender was so fun and friendly and made the experience very enjoyable. We'll have to come back to try brunch!

Lovely place on an otherwise dreary rainy day. First time to eat here, my wife wanted to try it out for her birthday. We were seated in a spacious table and our server David was the best. Nice atmosphere and even better food and service. Everyone enjoyed the food and I look forward to our next visit.
