Nice little cafe with decent menu options and open atmosphere. Patio for outside dining, small bar and plenty of places to sit inside and out. Not easy to see from the highway and nothing that I would have to go back for. Good for a quick bite.

Heart in the right place and not pretentious! Well prepared and sustainably sourced "American food", a Texas chef's dream come true. Pimento cheese dishes totally deserve a try. Salmon is awesome, and they have the Incredible Burger if you are at all worried about what meat is doing to the planet. That said, their steak is well done (Ha, well that sounded funnier in my head). And desserts are simple but wonderfully caloric. Recommended!

Just celebrated my birthday at 11/17 and it was fantastic! This was our first visit, but we will sure be back soon. The service and atmosphere was wonderful from the minute we walked in. Our waitress was Alissa, and she did an exceptional job. She was very familiar with the menu items and provided great recommendations. We had the onion rings appetizer which was great. My husband had the catfish which was very good, and I enjoyed the steak fingers. The food was truly delicious and we can't wait to return and try other menu items. Go there when you are very hungry, the portions are quite large, and you do not want to miss out on the peach cobbler desert, it was wonderful!

Finally a family owned restaurant with amazing food, staff, by my house and a menu that isn't over priced! Great food everytime! I've been here several times and once when they were really understaffed and the place was packed but guess what? Same great service as the time before and the food was still amazing and brought out hot and timely! They have a coupon in the McKinney Impact...go here, you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I were seated promptly at the bar and our drink order arrived quickly as we looked over the menu. We placed our order and waited only 10 min before being served. My wife enjoyed her grilled chicken sandwich and side salad. I ordered a chicken salad and pimento cheese appetizer. The pimento cheese was very bland and the texture was not spreadable. The chicken salad was dry and flavorless. It reminded me of canned potted meat. The store bought crackers didn't do much to help the dish. I guess the olives were as expected from a jar. I really don't know how these places stay in business. I guess the general public expects nothing for their money so they are never disappointed. Good grief!
