Koshi Sushi & Korean Restaurant

Newly opened and right around the corner! The sushi here is fantastic and fresh and the other items on the menu have all been fantastic. We love the Avocado Bomb and dumplings, and the Korean dishes have been really good as well. As noted the sushi is great and they have some unique rolls as well. The owner Jae checks in on you if at a table and really enjoys his customers enjoying his food. The wait staff are very attentive as well. Highly recommended. For a new place they really hit the mark so it can only get better.

We love sushi. And we loved Koshi. The sushi was delicious, service was excellent and the place was super clean and fresh! We ate at the bar and spoke to Jae, who actually owns the restaurant- super nice guy. He chose McKinney to open his first restaurant which I thought was pretty cool. We will be going back as often as we can!

The sushi tasted so fresh! The seaweed paper was a little thick and different, but so good. Miso soup was hot and very tasty. Great service, got our food quickly. We will defintely be back!

I've eaten at Koshi twice now and have had a great experience both times. The first visit was for lunch and I ordered a sushi combo. It came with two full sized sushi rolls, 6 pieces of sashimi, and a side salad (that was very large for a side salad). The second time we visited for dinner and also had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and the service was really good. This time, we tried some Korean La Kalbi Short Ribs and they were amazing! We also ordered a Rock & Roll and the Japanese Lasagna. Both rolls were very fresh and really good sized. They also have a good wine selection as well as a few good beers. From the other reviews, it sounds like they had a rough start with some service issues, but I would give it a try. Both times I went we had really good experiences. We also got to meet the owner when we went to dinner and he was super nice! For a good sushi place that's in Stonebridge Ranch, this place is really good.

I love this place. I’ve been going to Japanese restaurants for 30 years and this ranks as one of my favorites. The quality of the food was great. The gyoza and sushi was very impressive. The speed in which our order came out was faster than expected. The price was reasonable considering the quality. Whatever problems others may have experienced, give them some time to work out the kinks.
