Benny's Bagels

Great little bagel/coffee shop, visit in the morning if you want to get the full selection of bagels. There is a good selection of beverages and sandwiches that meet the comfort food criteria, the sandwich I got "the early riser" was a little lacking on the seasoning side, could have done with more cheese and salt in the eggs so I'd recommend added a sauce of some sort.

Had a great cappucino and atmosphere and the place is very conveniently located.

The atmosphere is very nice. The staff is very nice. The bagels are a bit deflated. I guess it's just a different style of bagel than you would find in New York.

The food is excellent and the service is great. It gets busy from time to time, and it's not uncommon to wait about 5 minutes for an order on a weekend morning. I feel the occasional wait is just part of getting a good quality product that is made from scratch in the store.

But the greatness of this place isn't just it's excellent food. Benny's is also an active member of our community. The owner actually cares about this city, and shows it. Benny has been a driving force behind making this city better for kids. Just look at the ever rotating staff of kids behind the counter. He's literally introducing it kids to what it's like to be a working adult.

I don't want my review of this restaurant to spend too many words praising the owner, so let me recommend the lox on poppy, and go ahead and get it all the way with a lite smear of plain cream cheese... I drive 10 minutes every Saturday morning for it, and it's excellent every time.

Pretty good overall. We are from NYC and we know what bagels should be like. Service is pretty good most days too. they always have our special bagels set to the side . I actually liked Benny's bagels better than the bagel we just had in NYC last month.

I’ve been here two time with my best friend so far. Wonderful experience both times. The first time the owners wife took my order. Made wonderful suggestions and answered the questions I had. The customer service was truly wonderful from all of the workers. The second time, the owner took my order, and was also wonderful as well. The first time I ordered the chicken salad and the second I ordered the tuna salad. Both were amazing. Their drinks and smoothies are first class as well. It’s priced a little bit high but that’s fine. The vibe of the eatery is great and it’s a great place to sit and eat. The bagels and sandwiches are amazing, and they have a plethora of bagels to choose from with great sides as well. I wish some sides were free though, but they are not priced too high. They also have a wide variety of cream cheeses as well. I will definitely come back as it is one of my favorite spots.
