CT Provisions Cocktail Parlor & Kitchen

First we were very impressed a restaurant would even attempt to get up and running this year - let alone do a magnificent job! The menu was both selective (there are maybe 6 dinner options, 2 salads, a few veggies & desserts) - highly creative - and absolutely delicious! The cocktails were unique and tasty (they have a nice wine selection as well). Our salads were amazingly fresh - probably the best salads we've had for quite a while. The steak perfectly done. The veggies.. (to share) again nicely seasoned. And the portion sizes were nice (yes, you got your $$ worth) but you actually had room for dessert - and those desserts were outstanding! The service was personable and efficient with plates being cleared and presented in a timely fashion. C T Provisions is at the higher end of the restaurant curve for McKinney - we needed a few more - definitely will be back!!

We’ve been to CT Provisions twice and had wonderful and memorable experiences both times. We have two small kids and rarely get a good date night. But when I walked past Provisions one day I knew we had to try it.

The inside is beautiful and all of the tables are set perfectly, and it was no different either time we visited.

The first night was our rare date night and I immediately thought that we were NOT cool enough to be there, the place was solidly busy and we had luckily made reservations. Each cocktail we ordered (one each) and the oysters and ahi tuna were all incredible. Each thing we ordered was an experience in and of itself. The entrees were good too, but they really shined that evening in the cocktails and appetizers.

The second time we came in, we brought my in laws (visiting for the first time in over 11 months) and our kids. Our kids are a handful (4 and 2.5) but they took wonderful care of us. Again, everything was incredible. My in laws love food and new experiences and this did not disappoint at all. We all tried each other’s food: mussels, Cornish hen, trout, and wild boar pasta. All entrees were superb and cooked perfectly. Even the crispy chicken we ordered for the kids was incredible. The appetizers and cocktails were wonderful again, too. Zero issues and zero complaints.

The service both times was impeccable.

All of us (kids and adults) highly recommend it. We are all nobodies who love food, though my husband and I worked in traditional fine dining many, many years ago. We don’t know anyone who owns or works at the restaurant, we just feel really passionately about how great it is.

Try this place. Frequent this place. Let’s turn it into the McKinney gem it deserves to be.

So I came here last Friday I believe at around 11pm with my friend Eddie, who just happen to know the owner oddly enough. Let me tell you, this place is immaculate. The decor is on point as is the cuisine and the cocktails. I personally could not find anything they could be faulted with. We had the mussels, which were in this sauce that made you want to drink a cup of it straight it was that tasty. Also the fried chicken(I forget the actual menu name) was delicious as well. I had their version of an Old Fashioned while Eddie had their Black Manhattan. Both cocktails were phenomenal, pleasing to the palate and other senses. (visually and aromatically) That being said, I will definitely be returning.

Great place! The atmosphere is incredible. Their happy hour is on point. I loved sipping on their ORANGE! Old Fashioned and fresh oysters. Get there early if you want a spot at their gorgeous bar. Most important part is go. Enjoy.

Blown away! This place is exactly what McKinney needed!!!! The best drinks, awesome bar tenders and a fun atmosphere that’s classy. This business will crush it!!! Highly recommend skipping all other businesses and going here. My wife and I have said for years we need a nice cocktail lounge and now we have it. So pumped to go back!
