One of my go-to restaurants! The food is extremely authentic, and you can taste the technique in each dish. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their dishes on the menu. In fact, one of my favorite dishes from them is simple vegetables (空心菜) stir-fried in a wok. The food is also served really quickly, and though some people might feel that the service is lacking, I feel that the waitress is really kind when greeting us and always eager to give us more rice if we need it though you might need to ask since they tend to be too busy to check-up regularly on you as is typically common in American restaurants.
Pretty quick. Actually, very quick. Good food, and the portions are big. But, I must say that the service was a little sloppy. Could use some work in that department,
The food is authentic and really good. They do clean, however there are dried spatters on the walls at every table. Don't let that taint your impression.
I'd still eat here for real Chinese food, and not that American stuff covered in sugar.
First time at this restaurant. We had the Mongolian Chicken and Sesame Chicken. It was delicious! Huge portions. We will definitely be back.
Update 1: went back a month later. Tried two different dishes and they were equally as good as the first two.
We had seen this place for years (shopping at the Asian market next door) and never thought to give it a try. Big mistake on our part! The food here was fantastic. The menu is deep and very spicy. We ordered three dishes and all were good. The lo mein noodles were the weakest part of the meal, but still tasty (they used a noodle that was a bit like spaghetti - not my favorite). The salt and pepper squid was some of the best we have ever had (that dish is a personal favorite that I sample anytime it is on the menu). We were there on a Friday evening and the restaurant was far from crowded. Don't let the lack of patronage fool you - this place is legit South China cooking. We will definitely be back.
