Taverna (Legacy West)

First time visitor and not sure if I would go back. The host was very nice. Enjoyed the bartenders. When we were seated, the table was wobbly. We could hardly hear our waiter and he really couldn't hear us, so that was frustrating. The waiter had a dingy apron which was bothersome to half the people at our table. The appetizers were well presented but the entrees looked like they were just set on a plate without any thought. The flavor of everything was fine but nothing that I would absolutely feel compelled to go back and have.
From the other reviews, it sounds like we should have just skipped to dessert.

We enjoyed the pasta dishes but the desserts were outstanding. I ordered gluten free pasta, which is always a risk, but the kitchen actually knew how to properly prepare it! We were greeted promptly and the waiter was friendly, attentive without being overbearing and even offered to provide club soda when I spilled some sauce. The dinner was a little expensive but everything in Legacy West is expensive. The menu prices are comparable to the surrounding options but frankly, Taverna's service is better.

A friend and I were walking through Legacy West and stumbled across Taverna. I am so happy we did. It was a wonderful experience from top to bottom. You could see the owners and staff took time to get even the smallest details perfect. The food was amazing, the presentation was perfect, and the vibe was one whereas you definitely want to go back. I would definitely give Taverna 5 stars!

I went here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Let me start by saying that the Italian Old Fashion was great... the second was inconsistent from the first and not as great, but the third was on point.

The bread and pesto sauce was actually my favorite part of the meal... because it was better than my meal! This doesn't mean my meal was bad at all... but I did get the first pasta dish on the menu, which was a shrimp ravioli dish with lobster tail. It was delicious and highly recommend it... but still the bread and pesto was so rich and amazing! ha..
